Designed by architect George Champlin Mason, Sr., this summer retreat is now home to a multi-generational family. When a young professional couple embarked on the large undertaking to renovate a mill house, originally built in the 1700s and convert it into their new home, they contracted us to assist with the interior design. Once the original mill house that powered Glen Farm in Portsmouth, Rhode Island the property is rich in history and it was important to the homeowners to preserve as much of the original structure as possible. The results—a successful blending of historic charm, period architectural details and plenty of modern amenities.
